Any chance that you might offer a third 102 course? I would love to take it in 2013, but will be out of the country on the scheduled dates. I am a clinician in mental health, and would like to ramp up my skills. I am in solo practice in metro Chicago, and am also a CERT. Trust me, Chicago metro will need all hands on deck in a worst case scenario.

    Dr Damaris C,

I encourage you to make the effort to take the trek to Ohio. I live outside Seattle and have traveled to Doc Cindy’s classes 101 & 102. I am anxiously anticipating the third course which I will attend with my daughter in November, after she graduates (God willing) from nursing school. The courses are VERY informative, and organized. Participants are cordial, and Doc Cindy has a great dry sense of humor. The new venue at her farm, “Farmageddon,” is warm and homey. It’s also a great opportunity to meet other preppers from around the country, and share ideas as well as resources.

  3. Kelly K says:

    Hello,

I am a registered nurse from Colorado. I would love to come out to Ohio for some classes with you. I have heard about you through Crisis Response International. Several people in your area recommended you. Do you have a new schedule for 2013 as I would love to plan ahead and fly out. Thank you very much.

    Kelly

[I have my next class posted online for the end of January, but it will be in Florida – maybe a nice getaway for you. (CLICK HERE for more info.) After that I plan to have a class in Ohio sometime in March, but haven’t set a firm date yet. – Doc Cindy]

  4. rebe says:

It sure would be great if you could offer a pod cast, or webcast class so more people could learn…. and make it more affordable . Thanks very much.

[Reply from Doc Cindy – Hi Rebe, I am working on some of this, including some 1-day workshops, DVDs, and maybe a work-study option. With the holidays coming up, I won’t be having more classes until January, but will post them online shortly, and hope to see you soon.]

  5. Dr Damaris C says:

Your course content looks awesome! I am clinician.. Psych.. I need help trying to figure out what is needed for my TBI husband, ADHD, son, and hubby– in terms of meds. I have some ideas, but we don’t want him off his meds.. He is a mess– without the meds, and it looks like a severe case of Bipolar. I am trying to procure additional meds like Abilify, Adderall, Lexapro for him. I can’t imagine having him off meds and the collaspe happening 2-5 years.

Also, do you have courses closer to Idaho? We have a couple of us who would like to take these courses. Do you offer discounts for a small group?

[Doc Cindy replies: So far it is difficult to leave my practice to hold classes elsewhere. I do offer a $50 discount (usually for couples) who are sharing a course syllabus and other materials, and summer camping options are available. We have had students from California, Florida, Massachusetts, Canada, New York, and everywhere in between, including Idaho. I do hope to see you at a class soon, and hope you are able to travel to Ohio – a great place both to visit and to live!]

    Dr Damaris Conrad

  6. Julie McL says:

My husband and I (and perhaps a friend or two) would be interested in a class in January or February. Will one be available?

  7. beth b says:

Can’t wait! I’ll register as soon as I get home on Wed!
