    Can antibiotics in tablet or capsule form be frozen to extend their life? Would the freezing hurt the antibiotics in any way? Would I just put the unopened, sealed bottle in the freezer or is there something else I should do with them?

    [Doc Cindy replies: Freezing is not a good idea. It can harm the integrity of the capsule or coating. Best to store according to guideliines on the bottle.]

    I have been in places where there was no access to any medical help. I used to carry fish antibiotics during these travels. They saved me from pneumonia. Gotta be careful with dosage though.
