Thank you for the best site I have seen for information that is practical and applicable to the now and aftermath. It is a gold nugget when i was trolling for information.

I’m new here so please forgive me if these are oft-asked questions. We have a great group and a great retreat site in northern Mi. What we lack is a medical person. 1) How do I approach my family doctor without losing his respect or my credibility? 2) Failing that, how can I locate a medical professional in my area?

[Here’s a partial answer to your question: How to get your doctor to help you stockpile medicine. If you are looking for a sympathetic professional, I suggest searching for a solo physician, or possibly a small group of doctors, practicing on their own, not hospital-subsidized or employees, probably middle-aged or older, and maybe one who drives an older car and/or goes to church. You can read the full article on this at SB at http://survivalblog.com/2011/12/how-to-find-a-doctor-to-help-y.html. I hope this helps. – Doc Cindy]
