An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Imagine how healthy America (and the world) would be if we all avoided the seven deadly sins. The accompanying image depicts the rash of secondary syphilis.
Pride leadeth to depression and weight medication,
Envy yearneth for facelifts and hair transplantation.
Gluttony causeth obesity and drunken disease,
Lust resulteth in pregnancy and dread STDs.
Anger yieldeth angina and stress ulceration,
Greed assureth anxiety and much agitation.
Sloth alloweth unfitness through excessive rest –
Abstain from these sins, and you’ll be at your best.

Pregnancy is not an illness or injury. Failing to become pregnant occasionally in one’s life is often attributable to one or more of the above sins. Hating children – individually and culturally – is clearly attributable to the above sins.
Very true, pregnancy is not an illness. But wouldn’t it be wonderful if all children were born to families with two loving parents?
I agree with you Dr. Koelker even though I’m only an Acupuncture Physician, and never joined Mensa. Keep up the good work! Kudos to you.
Anyone out there interested in acupuncture/acupressure advice?
